Lego Motorized Lighthouse

On January 25th made progress on the cabin and the surrounding area by adding in the railing, bricks around the corners, door and putting on the door itself.  I also mounted the fish which helps anchor the cabin by going into the lighthouse.  The building itself clicks into the yellow circle piece on the base. 

On January 19th I was able to work on my build for a while, which included completing the wall which will cover the battery pack so it blends into the terrain.  I also completed the foundation of the lighthouse, and you can see where it will be by the assembly to drive the lighthouse coming

For Christmas I received this beautiful LEGO set from Stephanie.  I’ve liked lighthouses for as long as I can remember.  This likely roots in how my parents grew up in Newfoundland and my mom grew up in a house on the road that lead to a lighthouse and the surrounding buildings which we’d explore as
