On January 25th made progress on the cabin and the surrounding area by adding in the railing, bricks around the corners, door and putting on the door itself. I also mounted the fish which helps anchor the cabin by going into the lighthouse. The building itself clicks into the yellow circle piece on the base. That was Bag 7, which completes book 1 of the instructions.
Continues with Bag 8, where my daughter joined me for a building session playing with the people and lighthouse. You can see here how the integrate the cabling for the light as it clips into the second story of the lighthouse and weaves inside.
Bag 9 was about starting to assemble the outside of the lighthouse. Getting the bricks on making up the outside of the lighthouse.
Bag 10 was installing the Windows on the levels of the lighthouse previously assembled, completing those floors.
